The Athena Surgical RMUS system is a mid-urethral sling used for the treatment of female stress incontinence due to ISD and/or urethral hypermobility. Working closely with leading stress urinary incontinence surgeons, special attention was paid to specific hand positions in order to improve control and repeatability of the procedure. After establishing the ergonomics, additional refinement enabled our machine shop to drastically reduce cycle times (cost), while preserving the original form and details.
